Tim Hortons – Dark Experiment (Non-traditional)
Tims wanted to introduce their first new coffee in 50 years. A Dark Roast. The coffee tasted great, so we were confident it could hold up to the ultimate taste test.
Results: In 3 weeks, the Youtube video had 2 million views, was the #2 trending hashtag in Canada, and was covered by FastCo, ADWEEK (Ad of the Day), Globe and Mail, #1 read story in Marketing for 4 straight weeks, and they sold out of Dark Roast in a bunch of Tims (according to Twitter – so it’s official!).
